John Swan is a Designer Goldsmith and Diamond Specialist. John developed a passion for jewellery from the day he started working at the age of 16 in O’Connor’s Jewellery Manufacturing Company. Which, at the time, was the largest jewellery manufacturing company in Europe. There he learned all aspects of crafting and designing gold and diamond jewellery.

In 1985, John and his wife Margaret opened their first jewellery shop in Arklow and have successfully built the reputable retail business ‘John Swan Jewellers’. In 2007 they took the opportunity to grow the retail business by opening in Bridgewater Shopping Centre.

John and Margaret are very appreciative of the support they have received through the years from the people of Arklow and beyond. Their support has helped the business grow and expand to what it is today.
